Welcome to MoodLine. We respect your privacy. This Policy explains what data the app uses and how it’s handled.

2. Information We Handle

On-Device Data Only

MoodLine stores your journal and mood data locally on your device to power its features. Examples include:

• Daily mood selections (e.g., 1–5 scale or emoji) and the selected date
• Short notes you optionally add for a day
• Derived insights such as streaks, averages, and most common mood
• Basic app preferences (e.g., theme)

No personal identifiers (such as your name, email, or precise location) are collected. Your content is not uploaded to our servers.

Optional Device Permissions

• Notifications (optional): daily reminders if you enable them.
• Storage/Share (optional): if you export or share a note or screenshot that you explicitly initiate.

Analytics / Crash Reports (Optional)

Not enabled by default. If privacy-friendly analytics or crash reporting are introduced later, we will update this Policy and in-app notices. Your journal content (moods/notes) will never be included in such reports.

3. How We Use Information

• Display and manage your daily moods and one-line journal entries
• Show a 30-day history and calculate insights like streaks and averages
• Maintain app stability and performance (e.g., via anonymized crash data if you opt in in future versions)

4. Children’s Privacy

The app is suitable for all ages and does not require sign-in or an account.

5. Data Security

Your data is stored on your device using platform-provided storage. We do not operate a cloud backend for your entries.

6. Third-Party Services

MoodLine does not share or sell data to third parties. If future versions add optional services (e.g., Google Play Billing for premium features, Ad services, or Crash reporting), we will update this Policy and provide clear controls and links to their privacy policies.

7. Your Choices & Controls

• Edit / Delete: You can modify or delete entries inside the app.
• Clear All Data: Uninstalling the app removes local data. If a “Clear Data” option is added, it will erase all saved moods, notes, and insights on your device.
• Exports / Shares: Any screenshot or file you export is shared only by you and remains under your control.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy as MoodLine evolves. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
